This was helpful to someone who doesn't know how to do that btu I already know how to do that. My problem is if we have a mutual friend then for some reason Facebook is not allowing them them to still see my friends. I want to hide them totally no matter if we have friends in common or not. Thank you for your help.

I don't like this method so I thought up this one below.

Hello FB friends. You can hide the messages/posts from lets say Her to You, but she is still visible on your friend lists to you and everyone else. You can also remove connection to this person when you click the cross on the right when in friend list view. But this removes the person entirely.

HERE IS THE PLAN - Set yourself up as another person with same name (or a psudonym) on FB using another email address (get one from hotmail or somewhere). You can then use this account to hide your very private friends from all others. You can then have 2 tabs open at same time on IE, each tab connected to the separate FB account and then just click from 1 to the other. You can keep one list of friend or friends on separate FB accounts or even mix them. That's good don't You think? Not hard to do either. Let me know how you get on please. Luv Brunky (nickname)xx PS Where are u in the world? tonybrough@tiscali.co.uk

It can't be dear . It should be . Tell me everyone . What is the next blog i should write about?

Thanks for the tutorial.

FB is retarded. Who would want their address book public knowledge by default??

If i understand this tutorial right I have to add the friend publicly, then add them to a list of blocked names every time I add someone to my Friends list. You have to ask your self why these networking sites make it such a fight to get the basic fundementals of privacy. IE your "address book"

I don't have either of these options anymore....is this something with the new settings? Crappy.

After I click on Profile, I don't have the choice of "Friends" to customize!
Any other way of getting this list back on my Profile list?

Hey, thanks for the tips, but I believe that FB, and their new changes, has made this obsolete.

I can make the list just fine, but the second part, in the settings, there is not a selection for friends anymore...

Thanks and good luck...

I just want to hide my friend list...please help me...

I think Facebook may have removed these options from Settings. It looks like all that can be done is to prevent 'anyone' from seeing your friends list as follow: on Wall, by the Friends display on the left side, click the pencil icon and check or uncheck the box. The note says friends are always visible to other friends. Does anyone have better information about this? It would be good to be able to block the friends list from other friends if desired.
